It is the true Paradise filled with cool mountain strams, blue-green lakes, picturique vellages, Llamas and Alpacas everywhere, snow caped mountains, the colorful rainbow mountain that remains you a painted hills that is a must see place when traveling, one of the most breathtaking places on earth and the most important a trek in the Shouthern Cusco. We depart Cusco by 5am for a journey of 3 hours to the trail head at Upis bajo, here we will meet our horse riders to load all equipment, we will enjoy our first camping brekfast. Our adventure starts with gradual up hill in the direction of Ausangate mount through Llama and Alpaca herds, it will be a gentle hike, sometimes can be chalenging because the elevation but, don’t worry about it our passionate guides will be there for you to encorage you every step to make it to camp with total happiness. Once arriving to camp you have the time to enjoy the views as well as have the chance to jump in the hot springs while you watch the Sun set over the mountains. Waking up with our style coffee or coca tea in your tent by one of our chefs followed by a belicious breakfast, what a way to start the day! we will then start our trek towards the first pass called Arapa that was once and it is still for our Quechua people a sacred spot, here we will do a small ceremony to the mountains as our anscestor did especially when we will be pretty close to the most sacred mountain for the Incas the Ausangate mountain. After this nice momento we head down to lunch spot next to a beautiful Yanacocha lake. After our lunch followed by it’s propper nap we will continue our journey to the next camp at Puka Cocha that is located righ down at the bottom of Ausangate mountain an espectacular place to spend the night. You will be wake up by our cooks with a nice cup of coffee or tea in the tents followed by a nutritious breakfast to makes us ready for the day, after packing we will start hiking up on steep switchback trail towards the second pass where we will find a big pile of stones made by the Incas long ago called Apacheta as marking along the trails, also it offer us more snow capped mountain views, red mountains, glassy lands and perhads the wild Vicuñas (Similar to Llamas) after a good rest here we start decending to camp for couple hours where our lunch awaits for us. The afternoon hike is towards Huarmisaya pass from we will have the first view to the maginificent Rainbow mountain, from here we have only 25 minute walk down to Camp next to Huarmisaya lake Very early morning hike to the Rainbow mountain, we will be one of the first hikkers arriving there to enjoy the place before the day hikkers arrive because then the place gets to busy. After all the time we spend here we head down to the espectacular Red valley and espectacular Valley that has not many hikker eather, our day will end by 11 am with the last camping meal with our chef. From here we have only 3 hour drive back to CuscoOverview
